This is so beautiful and surprising thing to see when you are passing through inside the village! Beautiful Ah-Khar traditional accessories such as bags, hats, bracelets, foot-chains, necklaces, scarfs, etc. hanging and displaying and selling by an Ah-Khar woman in the street inside a small Ah-Khar village in Kyaing Tong.
Ah-Kha is one of the minority tribal groups in Eastern Shan State and are rich in culture and their tradition is interesting! They live in their own group in specific regions in Kyaing Tong and they hold one of the main tourist attractions in Kyaing Tong in which their handmade products and their living lifestyles. The Ah-Khar traditional stuffs and their costumes are very precious because they are carefully handmade at their homes and very beautiful and can be quite pricey. The woman who is selling these stuffs is also wearing their traditional dress! Interesting things, isn't it? :)
